Race Number collection will take place at Elvery’s Intersport, Headford Road Retail Park Galway.
Friday 5th October 3pm – 9pm Marathon, Half Marathon, Double Up & 10k
Saturday 6th October 8am – 11am Half Marathon, Double Up & 10k
Important Note: There will be NO Full Marathon Number Pick Up from Elverys Intersport on Race Morning. Full Marathon ( ONLY) participants can pick up race numbers from 7:00am to 8:00am at the event marquee at the start area on Saturday morning. All other race participants must collect race numbers at Elvery’s Intersport
Please Note: Race pick up will open ONLY at the times stated above and not before so please plan your day accordingly as we will not be in a position to facilitatepacket pick up earlier than the times stated above.
Race Start Times:
All events start on Saturday 6th October at Nimo’s Pier, Claddagh, Galway.
Full Marathon starts at 8:30am
10K starts at 10.30am
Double Up starts at 10:30am
Half Marathon starts at 12.15pm
Each Race Pack will include:
– Race number (with timing chip attached)
– Safety pins
– Technical T-shirt
Look out for Our Warm Up Team on stage on race day. The team will be warming up, motivating and prepping the crowd before race start.
The race start for the Marathon is 8:30am, 10k & Double up is 10:30am and the Half Marathon is 12.15pm sharp. You are advised to arrive in good time before the race. There will be parking restrictions in operation on the route. A secure baggage area will be provided for your belongings at the start/finish area. Please click here for the route map.
We strongly advise all participants to warm-up well before the start.
Your safety is our top priority. Please help us in this regard by obeying the instructions of the Race Marshals, Gardai and Medical staff at all times on the route. Please do not wear headphones for everybody’s safety. Water stations and toilets will be available.
Please follow marshal instructions at the race finish where you will collect your medal and post-race refreshments.
Prize giving will be immediately after the event and hosted at the finish line for the top 3 men and women in the Full Maratho, Half Marathon & 10k.
